Megan Gerry

Lead Primary Guide, Garden Side Casa

As a Montessori preschool child herself, Megan always valued what the experience meant to her success in learning. After spending most of her adult life serving her community through foodservice, her love of children and a respect for the Montessori method led her to reevaluate her direction. Megan graduated from Montessori Institute Northwest in June of 2012 and was fortunate to become a part of the Cedar Montessori School community in her student teaching in the fall of 2011. She worked for six months as a substitute in a variety of Montessori communities and brings a wealth of experience from both this and helping to raise her twin niece and nephew. Megan earned her BA in Human Studies through Marylhurst University in 2016. Outside of her work at the school, Megan is busy spending time outdoors, being creative in every way possible, and spending time with her family.
