Lead Kitchen Assistant
With a dual degree in Pre-speech Pathology and Japanese spoken language, Desmond has worked with children in various settings, from summer camps to live-in nannying. Desmond first came to pdxMC in August of 2017 and began as an assistant in the Garden Side classroom. He later became the co-teacher in 2019, and the lead from 2022-2024. Desmond now works in a supportive role, assisting in the kitchen and helping manage interventions and strategies for classroom teachers supporting the children in their casas.
