Assistant, Mountain Side Toddler Community
Diana is an Atlanta, Georgia native who recently moved to Portland to pursue unique teaching and learning opportunities with children as well as take part in the growing culture committed to sustainable living. Diana is working towards an Urban Planning and Community Development degree from Portland State University. Working with children professionally over the past five years has inspired her to work towards making sustainable living more accessible for all future generations. She has extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings. During her time working in different states while traveling, she realized her passion for experiencing nature with children and learning together. Diana adores the creative spark for life in each child, and strives to be an outlet so children can truly explore who they are as developing young people. In her spare time, she enjoys finding perfect locations to watch the sunset, spending time hiking near waterfalls and rivers, and cooking homemade meals. Diana joined our team in summer, 2016.
